Sampled @ GBBF. Clear yellow golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly hops, a bit vegetables, plant like, lightly bitter. Average body and carbonation.

Cask (Nags Head, Reading) - Amber in colour. Grapefruit, tea, peach and lychees in the aroma. Hoppy and moderately bitter taste with peach, grapefruit and a slightly earthy finish.

Cask gravity at Tonbridge Siba 2014. Clear amber lasting beige head. It’s fine. Quite a fruity drinkable bitter with enough biscuit malt and some English hops on the finish. Yep it’s a bitter and quite a decent one at that.

Gravity dispense at the brewery and a 2 pint carry out at home whilst watching England vs Honduras ... Christ on a bike 2 pints of the same beer !!! 07/06/14. Clear golden with a good sized off white head. Nose is juicy citrics, orange pith, tangerine, light pine, grapefruit. Taste comprises soft bread dough, citric sherbets, orange pith, straw, pale malts. Medium bodied, little in the way of carbonation - on the flat side, grassy hop bitterness on the close. Solid GB, great aroma for 3.3%, taste falls away a little but still a decent drop.

Gravity dispense at the 15th Kingston BF, 16/05/14. Clear golden with a small off white head of bubbles. Nose is caramel, straw, light bread dough, bitter orange. Taste comprises citric rind, caramel, bready malts, orange pith. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so GB, not a patch on their Evolution No.4!

Gravity dispense at the 15th Kingston BF, 16/05/14. Clear golden with a moderately appointed head of off white bubbles. Nose is juicy hops, citric peel, tangerine, straw, mango. Taste comprises orange pith, bread dough, peach, subtle hops, toasted malt. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Solid GB, nice juicy citrics throughout, if only they were all like this !

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2013, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Tillingbourne Black Troll ].Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, caramel, moderate roasted, coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, dark roasted, roasted, dry, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask@The Mute Swan, Surrey - golden pour with small white head. Fruity light citrus aroma and taste, prominent lemon and grassy notes, refreshing and very easy drinking. Lovely stuff.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2014. Clear gold lasting white head. Floral peach aroma. Aroma is lovely. Continues but slightly less so in the mouth. Good. Like the hops decent balance. Lovely peach apricot tropical hop flavours. Excellent balance. Loved it.
