Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Gold with a dense cream head; fruity, malty aroma; lots of orange fruit flavour with a jammy sweetness; clean well-balanced bitter finish.

[Gravity cask at Back of Beyond, Reading] Amber-brown. Ooh... now this is surprising. I was expecting an average bitter, what I got was a bitter masquerading as a stout! Coffee and digestive biscuits dominate with hints of fruit and tobacco and some dry roasty malt in the finish. Very smooth & drinkable. Good stuff!

Cask (gravity) @ The Crescent, 20 The Crescent, Salford, Manchester, England M5 4PF.Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, virtually none appearance, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, apple, honey and butter notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090123]

Bottle @ chrisoโs Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008. Pours a slighlty hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty aroma with some hoppy hints. Sweetish malty fruity flavor with some yeasty hints. Has a fruity malty finish with some hints of bitterness in the aftertaste.

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 09. Bit of a haze on a copper/russet body. Thin beige head. Still in pretty good nick, ratehr good fruit/malt. Some earthy hop finish. Itโs pretty good. Nice bit of sparkle and very decent fruit.

Bottle 50cl. @ chris_oโs Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (020808)

Bottled. Golden colour, giving good creamy white head. Aroma is flavour are very similar, mainly nectary and fruity, being a rather sweet brew.still it has some bitterness and the finish is quite dry.

Cask gravity at Rare Breeds BF 08. Amber, bubbly off white head. Toffee-ish with a bit of herb. It’s ok. Not my favourite, but it’s an ok bitter, bit of an odd chemical aroma.
