Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 1. 08/08/2017. An oily black brown coloured pour with a loose tan head. Aroma is raspberry ripple, choc, brown sugars, mellow booze. Flavour is composed of sweet, sticky boozy fruit cake, toasted coconut, raspberry ripple. Palate is medium sweet, oily sticky. Good boozy. Stuff.,

Cask at GBBF. It pours jet black with a small and dense tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, dark chocolate, oak, wood, cookie dough, dark fruits, plum, dark chocolate. varnish, earthy, charred wood, treacle and rocky road. The taste is drying, bitter, charred, wood, rich roasted malt, ashy, leather, rocky road, intense, burnt leather, burnt vanilla, tannin, charcoal, peppery spice and tar with a slick, tarry finish. Full body, soft carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Aroma is nice, taste is filthy and chewy.

Cask gravity @ GBBF 2016. Pours an amber orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty piney hoppy grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty grapefruit hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty grapefruit hoppy bitter finish.

[ As Rio Bravo Old Town Porter ].Clear dark dark red brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, moderate chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, moderate chocolate, licorice notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Very dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and caramel. Flavor is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, caramel, liquorice, medium sweet, hop and a little bitter.

Huge creamy head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, chocolate, coffee,caramel, fruits and hops. Nice and smooth.
