Cask at GBBF 2015. It pours clear deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, bitter-sweet, grainy, dark fruits and cherry cola. The taste is simple, sweet roast, grainy, cola, cocoa, dirt and brown bread with a short finish. Medium body and, fine carbonation and kind of watery mouth-feel. A pretty basic dark ale.

Cask at GBBF ’15, day 1, 11/08/15. Rich chestnut brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is biscuit, earthy hop, cocoa powder, toffee. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, light roast, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light hoppy trace in a drying close. Ok porter.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2015 day 1. Medium brown coloured pour with a fading head. Aroma is dirty earthy farmyard, dung. Flavor is weak shit water, earthy dung, dirty farmyard. Palate is watery, piss poor.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Yates Golden Bitter ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, cookie - biscuit malt, light hoppy, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140813]

Cask during GBBF 2014 - London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy white head. Nice citrusy hop character, some light biscuity sweetness. Light in body with fine carbonation. Pretty well balanced to finish. Good one.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity, toasted and slight citrusy. Slight bitter, fruity and crisp hoppy. Lingering fruity and mild bitter finish.
