Description
Deep in the heart of picturesque Shelley, West Yorkshire lies the converted Barncliffe Mills, the home of Small World Beers. Run by a small team, the brewery is dedicated to creating the very best traditional beers and ales, fed from our own spring water. High in flavor yet moderate in gravity for everyone to enjoy. We operate a 20 brewers barrel plant, have 2 fermenters and our temperature controlled cold room houses our 3 conditioning tanks.

Cask (handpump) @ Babington Arms (JDW), 11-13 Babington Lane, Derby, Derbyshire, England DE1 1TA. [ As Small World Twin Falls ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity, biscuit malt, citrus notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask (handpump) @ Babington Arms (JDW), 11-13 Babington Lane, Derby, Derbyshire, England DE1 1TA. [ As Small World Secret ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, grass, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, citrus, earthy hops, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160220]

Cask @ Hogshead Brewhouse, Sowerby Bridge. Clear blonde coloured ale with a small creamy head. Hoppy with a mild berry-fruitiness in its nose, but mainly just crisp and sessionable in its taste with a smoothness.

Half-pint, cask at Babington Arms (JDW), shared with Finn. Pale golden body, next to clear. Decent white head, dotted spots on the glass. Grassy nose, mid-dry. Lemony hops to the taste profile with hints of grapefruit as well. Dry bitter tail. Easy to drink. Session qualities (Derby 16.02.2016).

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Clear golden in colour with a thin creamy head. Has a mild hoppy character, although more malty than fruity, but very easy-drinking.

Huddersfield Oktoberfest 2015. Blonde ale. Hopped with a low malty character - fairly balanced in the main with a low fruitiness that’s citrus based.
