The Potato Shed, Symondshyde Farm,, Symondshyde Lane,, Hatfield, AL10 9BB, England
Description
Let’s raise a glass and toast the way it should be - local beer brewed by local beer lovers using local ingredients, including fresh water from our very own Hertfordshire borehole.
No fuss, no pretension - just passion and a year’s hard work at our nearby farm to brew ales we, and hopefully the people of St. Albans, can be proud of.
Here’s to radically better beer!

Cask @ Six Bells, St Albans. Dark clear amber-orange with a small glow and no head. Bitter in character, it has a light sticky-sweet texture and taste rather than any notable bitterness.

2016 catch up - Bottle at home - A slightly odd flowery/metallic flavour to the beer that I felt overwhelmed its base "bitterness." It was ok, but that background flavour started to dominate the palate and spoilt the whole thing. It was very different from the beer I tried on the brewery stall at the county show. Overall not one that I would buy again.

Handpull cask at the White Lion, Baldock. Deep gold with a tiny bit of white head. Sulphurous smell with a touch of light citrus. Tastes considerably better than it smells: it’s got a bittersweet taste with some grassy hop in the finish. Long bittersweet finish. It’s not bad.
