Can at home in Hackney - sourced from HOTM. Pours deep brown, lightly hazy, with a large, frothy beige head. Moderately sweet, some decent roast, juicy orange, a little grapefruit, earth, bitter dark chocolate, light ash. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Light warmth in the finish, some torched pine, more juicy citrus, orange zest, burnt brown bread. Solid sauce overall.

Taste comprises bitter tropical fruit esters, pine resin, mango pulp, trace of hop spice, weed, melon. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come resinous hop bitterness. Solid DIPA.

Good, very dense light yellowish head over orangejuice-like beer. Rather sweet nose, orange & grapefruit, bit asafoetida, cakebottom. Perfumey flavour as guimauve, with more conventional citrus and hopbitterness. Bit vegetable bitterness in the finish, increasing. Well-bodied, fully hopoilslick, medium to good carbonation. Certainly not bad. But yet another proof excellence is less easily achieved the stronger the IPA is made.

Medium, fluffy pale yellow head over pineapplejuice-like beer. Citrus, exotic fruit, jumble of fruitesters, intense. Some orangejuice and cookie malts. Sweet with bitterish, faintly toasted surrounding. Again lots of fruity esters, citruspeel. Bitterness increases in time, especially the citruspeel impression. Not really chewy, but close. Yeast/proteinfilled. Medium carbonation and long-lasting flavours. More than decent, tasty IPA.

Can sourced from Ales and Brews - New brewery ✅ Sweet and toasted malty with lots of dried fruit shred, lots of toffee and caramel, treacle, oily and slick mouthfeel, medium body, lingering sweet malty finish. Not had a scotch ale for ages, pretty accurate for style. Nice.

Small rocky white head left a tight cover on a hazy amber coloured still body. Bitter, hoppy, citrus & malt tastes. Medium to full bodied, tingly with smooth back. Malt, grapefruit, bitter, resinous & orange tastes with a long pithy finish. Good one
