As Defaulters Pale Ale. Few months old this. Bright clear deep gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light pale malts, clean and with a veey mild sweetness. Mellow hops. Little marmalade and orange peel. Modest bitterness. Light crisp finish. Standard stuff but clean and drinkable. Would have been better when I bought it in July and the score is adjusted for that.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Floral aroma with sweet citrus. Light amber. Thin bubbly white head. Light bitter with a citrus edge. More of a quinine element into the finish. Mesium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long dry finish. Not too bad. A gold with some character to it.

Cask at Swan, Farnborough. Malty aroma - chcolate and berries. Very dsrk brown. Blocthy light beige head. Medium bitter before getting progressively more tart. Underlying sweetness. Very berry. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long very astringent finish. Decent enough. Surprisingly tart for a brewry that I have down as producing bland brews on the whole.
