Draft at the Spoons on Gracechurch Street alongside a burger lunch. A typical APA with the zing you would expect alongside a certain offness. Whether thisnwas accident or design I don't know, but it wasn't great.

Cask at Spoons in Eastbourne. Soy sauce nose. Caramel colour. Slight sweetness to it but still dry and cloy-soy sauce. Not sure I'd describe it as a best bitter to be honest....

Cask at JD Weatherspoon, Eastbourne. Just what you want a warm sunny day by the coast. Light, floral and sweet. Enjoyed it.

Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 19th April 2025. Clear pale gold with shallow white foam and full lacing. Mildly fruity aroma. Citrus liquid pass lacking complexity. Tangy finish. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. By no means unpleasant, but one half was enough.

Half pint, from cask. Market Porter, London. 21.3. 2025.
Soft mouthfeel, some nutty notes, fruits and herbal notes as well. Light and dryish finish. Ok.

Can bought at RHS Wisley shop. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Opaque amber-gold body. Aroma is combines a floral streak with doughy sweetness. Light resin. Medium bitter. Resinous. Citrs sour edge Spice. A tad rough around the edges. Underlying chewy malts and latterly a burst of sugary sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. This went down well after not having had high expectations for a Dorking brew. Good stuff.

Can from Beers of Europe. Clear gold with big fluffy white top. Citric, pine and light floral aroma. Very light soft mouthfeel. Taste of lemon zest, orange, pine needles, grass but all in a light way you would expect for a 4% pale. Very sessionable.
