Cask gravity at the Watford beer festival 2025. A clear pale straw coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is nice fresh citrus hops, lemongrass, jammy citrus, straw, grass. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, Base malts, lemon rind, some floral notes hedgerow pollen, leafy summer day. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, good cask condition.. Could crush some pints of this.

Can from Cobbett's, Dorking. Clear honey ey gold. Thin foamy translucent white head. Aroma had sweet doughy malts with a slightly bitter edge and floral notes Flavourwise itbhas a bitter citrus sour edged upper layer over sweet doughy malts. Peripheral spice. Woody. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Pleasent. I was.goo8ng to say refreshing but it's actually quite drying.

Can from Cobbett's, Dorking..Hazy-opaque pale gold. Thing foamy translucent white head. Aroma has a touch of.citrus sourness before really sweet fruit comes through. Underlying malta. Flavourwise it's got a tang of citrus alongside sweetbfrut, however it's also got those soda water edge throughout. Light. Watery. Carbonated soft drink fizz. Certainly refreshing but more like a flavoured sodaa ater.

Back in 1886 Grover Cleveland became the only US President to get married in the White House. Fast forward to US Independence Day today, this reimagining of an 1886 dark mild is not too dark, but a healthy chestnut colour with a creamy head. Pretty traditional sweet mild taste though.

[Cask at the Willow Walk (JDW), Victoria.] A very dark chestnut pour with a tight cream head; malty aroma; quite thin in the mouth with an earthy malt taste; and a sweet nutty finish. A nice old-fashioned mild.

Draft at the Spoons on Gracechurch Street alongside a burger lunch. A typical APA with the zing you would expect alongside a certain offness. Whether thisnwas accident or design I don't know, but it wasn't great.
