Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 14/8/2017. Hazy amber in colour, with a frothy, white, head. Aroma of banana, yeasty grains and a touch of herbal hops. Flavour had more fruit, some bubble gum, white bread notes and a moderately bitter finish. A good wheat beer.

Cask at the West Quay (JDW), Brighton Marina, 19/08/17. Golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is orange peel, light floral waiver, toasted grains, melon. Taste comprises orange pith, soft malts, melon, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close laced with a balanced layer of hop bitterness. Solid low ABV breakfast golde.

Can from Inn At Home, Guildford. Weak floral caramel aroma, I guess. Hazy gold. Whacking great frothy white head. Light bitter. Sour edge. Malt base. Light-medium bodied. Thin. Light carbonation. Low key dry finish. Nothing to write home about. It’s OK but not much going on. Bore beer.

Cask at Ealing Beer Festival 2017, Ealing, London. A golden/amber coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Vague hoppy, citrus aroma. Tastes vaguely hoppy, fruity with a strange taste I cannot explain, almost like plastic. Really disappointing.

Cask gravity at SIBA South East Tonbridge 2017. 4.6%. Hazy amber colour lasting cream head. German hefeweizen aroma. Banana esters. Decent carbonation. Some herby hop. A very light cask hefe but decent bitterness on the finish. 10 out of 10 for effort.
