Cask at Swan, Farnborough. Malty aroma with floral hints and some sour almost vinegar tones. Golden amber. Thin white head. Light bitter. Some surprising citrus notes. Malts. Light bodied. Thin but slick. Flat carb. Astringent finish. Decent enough. A bit more lively in terms of taste than I expected.

Handpull cask at the Black Horse, Aylestone. Dark brown, almost black. Opaque with a creamy tan head. There are notes of aggressively roast coffee and liquorice in the aroma, but there's also a dulce de leche sweetness which tickles the nose. Mild taste which harbours a tangy bitterness at the finish. More liquorice, some charcoal in the aftertaste. Creamy palate. Nice.

Can from Inn At Home, Guildford. Weak floral caramel aroma, I guess. Hazy gold. Whacking great frothy white head. Light bitter. Sour edge. Malt base. Light-medium bodied. Thin. Light carbonation. Low key dry finish. Nothing to write home about. It’s OK but not much going on. Bore beer.
