(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 27 Nov 2016) Dark brown colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit and gentle smoke aromas. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, dried fruit, prunes, balanced smoke flavours and a gentle bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a mild smokiness. Quite nice.

Odd rubbery aroma. Fruity and dry. Can't get past that aroma though, spoils it.

Can at home in London - picked up at an offie on Mare Street. Pours well clear gold with a frothy, white head. The aroma has pale grains, an ashy off note, citrus peel. Lightly sweet, a little astringent, with more ashy notes, lemon peel, straw, minerals, pale bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat dry and flinty on the finish, more more ash, husky pale grains, citrus rind, hay. A bit flawed.
