We've been brewing in New Mills since 2015, based at the Marina and opposite the famous Swizzels factory.
Our name comes from the other major landmark of the town, the Torrs - a park set in the 70-foot-deep gorge cut by the Rivers Goyt & Sett, that the town stands above and around, where many of the town's mills used to stand.

Hazy golden beer with a light hoppy, herbal aroma. The rosemary is there and up front in the taste, on top of a sweet fruity quality, a little grass. Lingering dry, floral, herby backtaste. Wouldn't rush back for a second but it's tasty and interesting.

Pours like engine oil with a small frothy tan head. Booze and cherries on the nose, really smooth, tastes like port with added Black Forest gateau.

Cask at Torrside tap. Pours milky pale yellow with white foam. Aroma: mellow smoke, some citrus, lemon, light yeasty, mild spices. Taste: light sweet with moderate bitterness. More smoke, citrus, light grassy. Dry on the palate. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. An underappreciated style, my cup of tea.
