Cloudy tan colour with a rich, rocky head. The aroma is yeasty in the aroma - both Orval and Dupont accents in its fresh, slightly biscuity character. Spicy up front, with sweet pale malts, and soft body, finishing with just a hint of alcohol. Complex, balanced and nuanced, a really nice tripel.

Hazy dull tan. Strongly alcoholic in taste. Light plastic note as well. Utterly unrefined, might have been the one of these that I liked the least.

Cloudy and light tan. The aroma is apples and vanilla, but the taste is kind of cloying, with some off notes. Doesn’t really come together.

29th September 2012
Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 2 (warm up tasting in Jan & Charlotte’s room). Hazy gold - amber beer. Big fluffy off white head. Smooth palate, semi dry. Mild mild citrus. Weird milky sweetness that eventually turns slightly sour. Whisper of banana. A bit strange. Dry finish.

Dull amber with a light haze. The aroma is leaning towards lightly crackery malts. Tastes like it would be an alright strong lager with some bready pale malt notes.

Cloudy dull tan. A good head and a stoneware krug away from being a good-looking kellerbier. Aroma is appley, a bit malty. Medium body, too fruity, not enough bitterness or leafiness, lacks freshness, too yeasty. Basically, this tastes like a low-end kellerbier, like the getrankemarkt stuff, not the village brewpub stuff.

50cl bottle, thanks to unstablefable. Pours cloudy or rather muddy brown. The nose has honey nut, soggy cornflakes. The taste has more of the cornfakes but with much more hops - gives a grassy/herby finish. The palate has a light to medium body with a simlar texture and a clean long finish. Overall, better than the sum of its parts. Overall
