Description
A former cuckoo brewery, Stockport Brewing installed its own eight-barrel plant initially under the iconic Stockport Viaduct in 2014. It then moved to a larger, modern facility in the Bredbury Industrial Estate north of Stockport. The beers are widely available throughout the UK through a trading agreement with other breweries.

ABV: 4.1%. Clear medium to light orange - amber yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light hoppy, butterscotch notes. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, butterscotch notes. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, cocoa, wood, sweet malt, dark malt, dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, raspberry, sweet malt, chocolate, cocoa, sugary, dark malt. Cask, third at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Coast To Coast. Shared with Finn. Filmy layer to a warm golden body, spotty lacing. Moderate herbal hops on the nose. Similar taste of herbal hops with citric hints. Rounded dry bitter tail. Fair enough. (Third day of the festival, 24.01.2020).

Cask, third at Manchester Beer and Cider Festival, Coast To Coast Bar. Shared with Finn. Clear copper coloured body, dissipating beige head, scattered lacing. Restrained smell of ginger and bread-like malts. The taste character is dominated by ginger with caramel malts far behind. Prolonged ending. So and so. (Third day at the festival, 24.01.2020).
