Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour do have plenty of raspberry as promised. Nice toasted malts. Quite bitter but with lits of syrupy raspberry too.

Handpull cask at the Crown Inn, Stockport. Light to mid-gold, clear with little head. Light citrus notes complete with hay and grainy husk in the aroma. Sweet taste with notes of fruit cocktail in syrup, but I'm missing the intense citrus hop that's present in the best golden beers. Passable but not incredibly exciting.

Cask @ Medicine Tap, Rochdale. Dark brown with a light-brown creamy head. It's mildly floral with a toasted nose and a sweet toasted taste, with the emphasis on sweet.
