Leeds Beer Festival 2019. The honey is light but does provide a sweetness to an otherwise dirty-hoppiness.

Wakefield Beer Festival 2018. Black with a light roasted malt character allowing a fair sweetness through. The barrel ageing was not that obvious from this wooden cask offering.

Hand-pulled cask half-pint on 2nd June 2018 in The Bridge End Inn, Ruabon. Lovely clear dark amber body, clean and clear, on top a white pillow of tight foam. Nice malty front to this traditional English Bitter, some fruity notes to be found in both the aroma and flavour. A very pleasant, easy drinking beer all round.

Cask from the wood, had only a sip of this one, at the SPBW 1st National Woodfest, Castleford, as Ossett Riverhead Black Corsair. Black colour. Roasty aroma. Distinctly roasty flavour, fairly dry. Hints of smoke.
