Holmfirth 'Last Of The Summer Wine' Tour & Bar Crawl, Beer#18.. A 'Pearle' of a brew - pardon the tv show's character pun! A dark crisp mild with a more stated roasted profile than usual for this style, but welcome enough.

Golden amber with a creamy white head and a sweet malt aroma. Crisp and fresh, fruit malt, maybe a touch of honey, with old school floral hops and a dry bitter finish.

Cask at Bingley Arms, Horbury - Clear golden amber body, solid lasting white head. Easy going malty caramel start, a little sharpness from the hops. Good mouthfeel and an excellent sessionable ale.
