Deadication beer to Pope Stephen II, died on this day, as it's quite topical given the funeral for the latest one took place earlier. Easy texture and strength pale, with a slight grittiness to its very soft citrus fruit. These are best in aroma.

On cask at Old poet's Corner, Ashover - Pale yellow body, thin white head. Lightly bitter start, fresh little citrus kick, but after that all rather samey.

Oldham Beer Festival 2025, beer number 10 of the afternoon at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham.
Black, heavy taste of Whimberry, which seems to taste like cherry to me. Makes it a sweet stout.

A row of seats underneath the big screen in the sports pub (with a fantastic selection of craft) I have been frequenting is from the Ground of the now defunct football club. A bit of history to sit near whilst supping this good looking, easy textured, light malty and light bittered brew. Scarborough FC is the club concerned.

Beer Number 8 at the Bradford Beer Festival 2025. Brownish colour and clear. Easy, sweetish, not a typical style, quite hoppy.

On cask at The Tap in Ossett - deep russet body with a firm white top. Big malty caramel fucker, loads of Soreen Malt Loaf vibes, excellent condition.
