Description
Nightjar Brew Co is the brand created by the team behind Slightly Foxed, established in 2011. This is a continuation of business – not one company going ‘under’ to re-emerge as another – same AWRS, VAT number, company number etc. After many successful years creating award-winning and popular cask beers, the brewery took a decision to undertake a significant rejuvenation.
But unlike a new entrant into the market, we come with many years of knowledge, learning, innovation, and expertise that’s mandatory for crafting a product that customers in 2018 are seeking out and expecting.

Afterthought after attempting the Rochdale Ale Trail. It's a crisp clear golden keg pour that's hoppy in the main. Just a few hints of fruit. A bit of a west coast styling going on with this one.

The Sculptor Douglas Tilden was on this very drinking day in 1901 declared insane. Dark glowing amber coloured, and it does have a clean tasting bitterness, with underlying tasty malts, so special enough within its own style.

Wigan Beer Festival 2026, Beer#21. Last beer of day one, a black-brown brew. Smoothish roasted malts, which are best in aroma, grittier in taste, with something providing a blast of spice.

Bradford CAMRA Beer Festival 2026, Beer#31. Cloudy, on the dirtier side of golden, but looks ok. It tastes ok too, a hopped tropical fruit aroma and taste carries more appealing flavours than its appearance might suggest.

Second and last Bradford Beer Festival wind down beer found in Bradford on the way home. Decent ale found here so happy about that. Darker clear golden brew, hoppy and bready, especially in aroma. Session strength and textured.

I've got more fingers than visits to Primark in my life, only as fashion isn't my thing. Hazy golden in colour, a tad watery but fine, although not huge in flavour, which is a blandish hopped with a minimal fruitiness. Not much aroma or flavour in this instance, but not off or below par either.
