Description
Nightjar Brew Co is the brand created by the team behind Slightly Foxed, established in 2011. This is a continuation of business – not one company going ‘under’ to re-emerge as another – same AWRS, VAT number, company number etc. After many successful years creating award-winning and popular cask beers, the brewery took a decision to undertake a significant rejuvenation.
But unlike a new entrant into the market, we come with many years of knowledge, learning, innovation, and expertise that’s mandatory for crafting a product that customers in 2018 are seeking out and expecting.

Keg @ Nightjar, Hebden Bridge. Light golden with a head. Low sourness hoppy ale with quite a high salty influence, which lowers its fruit influence too.

Cask at Egham Beer Fest Summer 24. Aroma is full on fruity with a hint of spice. Light-medium bitter. Resinous. Fruit. Soap. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. A tad boring.

Cask at Chelmsfaasarhd Beer Fest. Hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, modest fine carbonation. Decent pale malt sweetness. Rounded soft citric hops. Soft and slightly ripe orange and mandarin. Soft pine. Touches of mildly ripe mango and tangerine. Light and semi dry finish. A tidy cask affair.

Cask @ Nightjar, Hebden Bridge. Hazy slightly darker golden with a creamy-frothy head. Hopped with a creamy-fruitiness, so a little subdued in the latter coming across bland in its tropical notes.

Cask @ Exchange Ale House, Bradford. Black with a thick light-brown creamy head. Hoppy and fruity, but always fighting against its own dark malts for superiority. Fantastic and frustrating brew at the same time. Sometimes floral but notes of chocolate too.
