330 ml bottle, from Fru Hansens Gårdbutik, near Randers. ABV is 8.5%. Very dark ruby colour, nearly black. Large tan head. Distinct sweetish aroma of malts, bakery, caramel and honey. Fairly sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, slightly bitter finish. .

Shared bottle at local tasting, as Møn Julebryg, from Voldby Købmandsgaard. ABV is 6.2%. Very dark ruby colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of Christmas spices, hints of chocolate. The flavour is not too sweet, but has loads of Christmas spices. Yes, yes - we get your point: It is Christmas. Quite drinkable even at Easter.

Bottle from HavnensVin@Tobak. Pours clear reddish dark brown with small white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, rye bread, raisins, lemon and yeast. Taste is medium sweet, light to medium bitter and faint to light acidic. Body is oily with sparkling carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of malt, rye bread, caramel, brown sugar, biscuits and lemon.

33cl bottle from work. Pours Black with a small beige head. Grains and corn. Slight roast and a whiff of alcohol. Warming and prickly. Clean but quite standard and borders to being just boring and bland.

ABV: 5.1%. Clear dark dark red brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted - chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, licorice - UK licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dark malt, salty licorice, UK licorice, thin, sweet malt, light roasted - chocolate.
