Clear dark amber, small offwhite froth. Malty aroma with hints of caramel and spicy yeast. Caramely flavour with juicy citrus notes. Smooth and easily drinkable.

Hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of malt, apple juice and a little sulphur. Sweet malty flavour with a grassy touch.

Bottle. Very dark brown, clear. Roasted aroma, some chocolate and hints of licorice and smoke. Flavour has roasted malt, light and dry bitterness. A little fruitiness and coffee later on.

0,33 flaske på Torvehallerne 2.nyttårsdag: uklar kobberfarge med svært kort skum. Krydret aroma og smak, her har de tydeligvis lurt oppi bl.a. litt stjerneanis. Behagelig balanse mellom krydder, maltsødme og humlebitterhet. Tørr avslutning. Gode greier for kr. 30 ved bordet.

Flaske (bb. 300914), på Sigmunds hytte april-14: kompleks maltbase kombinert med centennial og chinook, julekrydderier og belgisk ale gjær gir et øl med stor, sødmefylt aroma men allikevel frisk og bæraktig smak som gjør at dette er et juleøl jeg gjerne kunne drukket året rundt.

Botled. A black beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, liqurice, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of liqurice, chocolate, and roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted finish.
