[i] Cask at the Admiral Benbow, Shrewsbury, Salop, 19-10-07 [/i] This poured dark golden in colour with barely any head at all. The aroma was soft and malty and lacking slightly, but the taste really was superb, it was quite sweet with honey and yet had a real citrussy dry, bitter, hooky taste curl on the end. There was even a little sweet cherry sat in the background to finish on.

Cask @ Warrington Oktoberfest. Pale golden colour. Slightly dry, bitter aroma and relatively hoppy taste. It’s not bad overall but fails in it’s Belgian aspirations of lemon and coriander.

Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Bath 28/9/07. Amber coloured with a decent, off-white head. Fruity malt aroma with some orange hops. The flavour hinted at some red fruit, before a dry finish. Good.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2007. Toffee, leafy grapefruit, bit buttery, but oddly nettley. Copper coloured and a bit odd.
