Cask at Ruislip beer festival 2012. An amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Vague hoppy aroma. Tastes hoppy and bitter. Not too memorable.

Gravicask at Bree Louise, Euston, half-pint shared with Finn. Cloudy golden body. Headless. Subdued smell of hop resin. Bland hoppy taste, notes of butter. Mild bittersweet endnotes. Beyond par (London, 05.11.2012).

From cask at Egham 13. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty. Roasted, breadish and light caramelish. Bitter and dry hoppy finish.

Bottle. Dark ruby, brown head. Earthy hop, berry and roast nose. Roast grain, berry, biscuit malt, good earthy leafy hop balance. Nice.

Cask at the Grape and Grain Autumn beer festival, Crystal Palace. Mahogany coloured pour with a white head. Bonfire toffee, nuts and caramel aroma. Toffee apple and plum jam flavour. Interesting.

[Cask at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe] Light amber with a moderate white head. Fruity at first, with lemon and a little marzipan. Restrained bitterness in a crisp finish. Better than the normal Rebellion monthly specials.

Gravity dispense at the 1st Runnymede Beer Festival - 08/09/12. Dark amber brown with a thin off-white head. Nose of hops, toffee, malt and dark sugars. Tastes of sweet toffee and marshmellow. Medium bodied with minimal carbonation and a smooth sweet toffee filled finish. A tasty beer for 3.7%.

Gravity dispense at the 1st Runnymede Beer Festival - 08/09/12. Cloudy dark chestnut brown with a thin tan head. Aniseed, toffee and chocolate on the nose. Biscuit and toffee flavoured. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, on the thin side.

Bottle at friends - 27/08/12. Mid brown colouration with red tinges when held to light and a thin off-white head. Big caramel malt nose. Tastes of caramel malt, caramelised sugars and berry fruits in the background. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Decent stuff.
