Keg draught at the brewery tap. It's dark brown and slightly translucent with a small ring of khaki head. Aroma is laden with sweet fudge, leaving little room for anything else. Sweet taste, lots of chocolate and a touch of sweet spice. Some hoppy bitterness in the finish with date and plum in the aftertaste. Light body, heavy carbonation. Bloody hell this is good.

Keg tap at the Sympathetic Ear, Brixton. Mid- to dark gold, clear with a spotty film of off-white head. Peppery notes and bready malt on the nose. Taste is sweet but it's got a slight bitter 'bite' near the long finish. Lemon rind and yeasty rolls in the aftertaste. Heavy carbonation but it really suits the style. An excellent Kölsch in my opinion and criminally underrated thus far.

Foamy off white head on a near black still body. Malt, Coca-Cola & berries aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & tingly on the back. Malt, Coca-Cola, medicinal, sarsasparilla & spiced fruit tastes. This is unusual & quite tasty.

Keg at Brewdog shepherds Bush. A hazed golden coloured pour with a lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is nice fresh citrus, tangerine, waxy citrus, peach, Lychee, soft bready grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, soft wheat, bready grains, peach melba, apricot, tangerine. Really easy going. Palate is soft, fluffy, airy carbonation. Nicely done.

Can on 4th July 2021 from Gorillas. Pours dull hazy amber with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Fruity aroma with tropical fruits and earthy pungency. A fruity liquid with citrus, smokiness and spices. Satisfying finish of fruits and spiciness. Full bodied with an engaging mouthfeel.

Can from Village Vintners, Pyrford. Light malty yeasty aroma. Hazy golden amber. Thin foamy white head retreats quickly. Light bitter. Citrusy sour edge. Grainy. Develops a herbal finish. Light bodied. Watery. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Light weight the most interesting (or least bland?) of the three lagers I've had today. Grew on me.
