22oz bomber. 4-05-14 edition. Thick unfiltered orange-peach-tanned body. Foamy white head fades out after a few minutes. This is really a superb IPA. Exceptional balance, big juicy hop tones. There are some mild apricot, peach-like tones going on, but also has a firm, steady NW citrus, dryness. Toasty malt backbone. Really solid stuff, can’t wait to dry others in the series!

Growler. Pours a near clear amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges slowly. Aroma has a nice light pine note with a good amount of grain and a bit of sweet grains and caramel backing. Flavor has a similar light pine note with some sweet grains and caramel as well as a hint of earthiness.

Bottle. Pours a a near deep gold with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a dank pine note with a bit of marijuana, some light onion and an earthy grain backbone. Flavor has dank pine as well with backing marijuana and a hint of onion backed by earthy grains.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of bread and grain with a hint of grass underlying. Flavor has a nice combination of grass and pine with some onion and earthy grain backing.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice combination of sweet wheat, light clove and a hint of banana. Flavor has much more clove with banana and sweet wheat backing.
