Bottle: Poured a hazy amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of floral hops with nice light citrus undertones and grassy notes is quite a treat. Taste is also dominated by citrus notes with some strong floral notes with light resin and grassy notes. Malt backbone is present though quite dry and doesn’t interfere with the hops flavours. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well brewed and approaching HT level of goodness.

Can, thanks a ton to Cocoapuph for bonusing me this long time want lister! Pours golden butterscotch, medium creamy beige head that slowly dissipates leaving a lot of residual and nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, citrus, a bit of passionfruit. Very nice! Flavor delivers on what the aroma promises, light sweet and light bitter, really well balanced. Reminds me a lot of a slightly souped up Zombie Dust, actually, which is a pretty damn good compliment. Medium body, a little bit oily in the mouth. This is a first rate IPA. Its score from me probably suffers a bit from the fact that the class of first rate IPA’s is growing rapidly though.

From cask. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is dense coffee, dark roasted chocolate malt. Smooth coffee and chocolate malty flavoured. Herbal coffee finish. Smooth mouthfeel. Lingering dry and bitter into the far finish.

Cask at GBBF 2013, Olympia, London. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Coffee, Roasty, coffee aroma. Tastes of rich bitter coffee, some caramel and a slight sweetness. It is clearly a decent stout but probably a bit too rich for me.

Gravity @ GBBF, small sample. Dark color, short head. Aroma is heavy of coffee, roasted, earthy, chocolate. Taste is mostly bitter coffee, but with some milk chocolate and a hint of biscuit. Slight sweetness keeps it away from being too dry. Too much coffee in the aroma for me actually, although it is pretty nicely balanced for the amount of coffee in combination with the relatively low abv.

Cask at gbbf 2013. Opaque black caramel with a loose persistent light tan head. Aroma is dry roast coffee with some pepper. Flavour is initially choc and roast. Finish is more spicy pepper with some veg. Actually works very well on cask. Pretty drinkable. Long duration of Roasty and choc. Very pleasant.
