Cask at GBBF 2016 - Day 4. Pours totally clear copper with a frothy, off-white head. The nose holds lightly toasted malts, nips of caramel, leather. Light sweet flavour with touches of leathery berries, earth and leaves, toasted grains, faint minerality. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Finishes with further toasty malts and leafy bitterness. A little dry and woody. Pretty OK bitter overall.

Oldham Beer Festival 2016. Golden coloured with a very mild, but unexciting fruitiness. May not have traveled too well to the festival.

Cask pint: hand-pulled in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 22nd Dec 2015. Golden pour with a clean, clear look, on top a smooth blanket of foam for the head. Floral, fruity aroma with a malt lead to the taste, semi-sweet with tropical fruit flavours adding to the light malt feel in the mouth: decent.

11th July 2015: cask half-pint at 4.5% ABV with a pump clip that states it’s an APA. Amber with a white head, malty lead in both the aroma and taste with a healthy hop content just behind the malts. Decent.
