Description
Focussing on "the good side of life" is what Big Belly Brewing is all about. We love things a little bigger, going the extra mile, adding something special, being more creative. But above all, we love things in life that are a bit more fun.

All our beers are well balanced and made with premium "The Swean" malts, so we get the full, distinctive beers that we are proud of. After coming up with a special touch, we design a legendary character for every beer. Finally, we write and add an amusing story about the character and the beer. That's how we make one of the most fun things, drinking beer, even more fun.

33 cl. bottle sample @ Beertasting Wes and Suus. Pours brown with an off-white head. Spicy aroma with cinnamon, pepper and cardemon (speculaas spices). Taste is rather sweet. Body is medium thick, with some wheat creaminess. Nice atypical weizenbock.

Bottle (from hetbiermoment). Pours dark brown. Aroma is spicy, cardemon, clove, sweet, fruits, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, spices, vanilla, cardemon, clove, malt. Finish is sweet and malty. Finish has some dry bittternes with spicy notes and touch of booze. Overall: very good, although not weizen bock in any way, very S/H/V.

Fles van het Biermoment. Ik haal er geen turf uit. Meer marshmallow, wat chocola en drop. Maar je hoort mij niet klagen

Fles van het Biermoment. Heel veel zoete bananenschuimpjes, samen met Werthers echte. Klinkt misschien ranzig, maar stiekem best lekker

330ml bottle. Slightly milky, amber colour with average to huge, sudsy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Hard to describe, herbal-spicy and slightly fruity aroma, muggy, sweaty notes of rotten peach and apricot, cautious hints of fresh apricot, a touch of green tea and hay. Taste is fruity and herbal spicy, notes of apricot, mirabelle, minimally peppery yeasty overtones, muggy, sweaty interludes of rotten fruit again; slightly overcarbonated.
