33 cl. can @ home, bought @ Plus Culemborg. Clear reddish brown with a beige head. Spicy dark caramel aroma with some red fruit. Sweet taste with a slightly cloying sweet boozy finish. Solid quadrupel.

Bottle at Mr Barley, Breda. A bit unclear bright yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste light to moderately malty, alright hoppiness, slightly sweet notes. Quite nice, well brewed blonde beer.

33cl Blik, dank Chris! Mistig goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Bloemig, citrusschil, licht kruidig, smaak is vlak en licht metalig, enigszins fris, lichtbittere finish. Lichte body.

A mild to medium haze on this deep reddish amber beer, small tan head. Palate is airy and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts but delivering a decent creamy sweetness with a nice light sweet creamy toffee well integrated. Vibrant sweet fruits, an almost candy like cherry with some back up of sweet prune and a trace of marmalade. Quite a light and crisp from finish. Hmm, a pastry Quad? Dunno! Like it though, certainly off the beaten Quad path without ever wandering any other style. Nice job.

Bottle (from Alko Prisma Vaasa). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is hazelnuts, some toffee, mild dried fruits with some slight toasted coffee and generic nuttiness tones. Flavour is hazelnuts, toffee, some alcohol, dried fruits and some chocolaty tones. Alcohol gives quite a big burn in the finish. Imperial Pastry Porter.
