Paul and Angus, the founding partners, have come together to create a selection of ales that provides a genuine balance of old and new. All our beers are all crafted using cutting edge techniques and equipment to ensure flawless quality, consistency and great depth of taste. There were really only three things on the agenda: Quality, Quality, and Quality.

Bree Louise. Cask. Light haze on this pale gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and airy. Mild fine carbonation. Mild tangy citrus, apple. Light finish. Not in the best condition. Meh!

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Light golden with a thin head. Has a very light grain in its nose with an easy to drink texture.

Cask, on gravity at Bristol Beer Festival 13/3/2014. Golden in colour with a slight white head. A touch of citrus fruit, cereal malts and a decent, bitter finish. Ok.

Cask at The Trades Club in Hebden Bridge, a long time permanent choice. Golden with a small head. Has a small hoppiness and a medium body. Decent session ale.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival, KEGS. Cask. Clear gold beer, big bubbly white head. Palate is light, smooth and dry with fine minerally carbonation. Little vanilla sweetness. Light German style caraway nuttyness. A mild citric peel keeps it interesting and pretty drinkable. Light dry finish.

Cask gravity at Beer Rebellion. It pours clear amber with minimal head. The nose is lightly sweet, earthy, orange peel and potpourri. The taste is brown bread, wood, varnish and leather with a peppery finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Decent bitterness to it. Alright bitter.

Gold with a small head. Full-bodied with a light pleasant malt base. Lageresque but still a cask ale.

Copper amber in colour with a small head. Has a sweet fruit aroma and is medium to full-bodied with plenty of fruit in its flavour.
