Aroma: Unusual, musty smell of yeast, lemon, soap and, rather unpleasantly, urine.

Appearance: Clear, golden body with small white head that slowly fades. No visible carbonation. Excellent lacing.

Taste: Soft lemony taste. Gentle bitter finish. Very easy drinking.

Palate: Medium body with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Flat carbonation.

Overall: Light, soft and easy drinking.

On tap @ Alexanders, the Pub, Kendal. Pours a hazy golden colour with a nicely proportioned head. It looks in terrific condition in fact. The nose has fresh citrus, somewhere between pineapple and lemon. The taste has more of the citrus but also the earthy and yeasty notes expected from the cask conditioning. The palate is medium bodied with a big tangy texture in the middle and a long refreshing finish. Overall, this was so easy to drink that the sides were completely covered in lace - always a good sign.
