330ml bottle, batch 49, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Rocky white head slowly diminishing over a cloudy, warm golden coloured body. Lacing rings down the glassware. Rounded malt-fruity aroma, herbal hops and grain. Quite delicate taste profile of ripe citrus joined by caramel malts followed by a bittersweet tail. Pizza friendly. A nice one (Tromsø 21.04.2017).

Bottle. Clear brown/amber body with a small, lacing tan head. Aroma has malt, toast and some ash. Flavor is sweet malt, light roast, toast, some chocolate and some bitterness. Balanced body and average aftertaste. Quite OK without being outstanding.

Big offwhite head. Clear coppery, still body. Linoleum and honey aroma, quite faint. Sweet linoleum and perfume taste with mealy notes. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dryish honey and perfume aftertaste. Lingering wooden notes. Not enjoying this. (0.33l bottle, from Gulating Lørenskog. Batch #59.)

Nice light brown slightly fizzy-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is mild roasted, hay, weeds, minerals, roasted grain, paper, hints of chocolate and lactose. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, hay, roasted grain, minerals, paper, grass, hints of nuts and lactose. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and mineraly mouthfeel. Boring.

Bottle at home. Pours clear copper with beige head. Aroma of dark dried fruits, coffee, chocolate, metal, alcohol, a little sipces. Taste bitter with some sweetness. Extremly bitter finish, unbalanced. Quite dry, medium bodied.

Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army new year’s ticker party 2017. Clear golden body with a white head. Mild, slightly grainy aroma. Flavor is mild as well, sweetish grain, subtle fruit and light but kind of sharp bitterness. Medium body and light aftertaste. Quite plain and rather boring, reminds me more of a regular pale lager than California Common.
