500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Sentrum Tromsø. One-finger sized head slowly diminishing over a dark copper coloured body with a slight haze. Scattered lacing. Smell of dark and dried fruits. Rich and well blended taste of brittle caramel, cinnamon, figs, almond and mid-sweet marmalade. Prolonged finish. Full bodied. Warming, nice sipper on a Friday eve (Tromsø 08.12.2016).

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9.0%. Dark brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of caramel and brown kandij sugar, also notes of Christmas spices and alcohol. The flavour is medium sweet, with the same elements as in the aroma, also some dark dried fruits. Despite a slight booziness, the beer is dangerously drinkable.

0.5l bottle from #041. This is a near clear looking copper colored one with a nice big lasting and lacing beige top. It smells of both dark candied sugar, mild raisins, dark caramel, fudge and some milder yeasty nutty tones. Like the taste. It's really nutty and almost a little sesame oily sweet. Hints of licorice and chocolate wrapper. It has a nice oily texture in the mouth and it's just about average on the carbonation. Mild phenol, yeast traces and a long dark fudge caramelly sweetness in the finish. Lots of flavor, and I did not mind this one at all. 03.12.2016
