Medium white head. Faintly hazy still yellow body. Light citrusy floral aroma with herbal notes. Sweetish citric strawy taste with mealy pea notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish citric mealy aftertaste with floral notes. Light acidity, it seems. It’s OK. (0.5l bottle, from wine monopoly, Storo. Batch #027.)

Lys brun klar med meget høyr hvitt vedvarende skum. Lukter epler, syrlige bær og noe korn. Middels fylde. Syrlig smak, epler, bær. Noe bitter sitrusskall og sitrus, noe blomster, gjær og korn. Noe vinøs og lett bitter avslutning.

0.5l bottle from #001. A newcomer! This is a good and dark brown colored one with a small but persistent and dots-laying beige head. On the nose it's really hoppy and actually quite nice. I get tones of both smoke and roasted malts here. A little bit of chocolate also. Yeah, smells nice this. Tastes quite alright also. It has a nice oily texture on the mouth and it's just below average on the carbonation. Well bitter for sure. It has a nice mild roasty flavor all the way. Some cold coffee, almost a little ashy in the dark finish. Lots of roasted dark flavors here, and it's as mentioned quite on the bitter side wonder what's the IBU count in this one.. Anyways, who doesn't like a well hopped brown ale, a nice first one from St Halvard. 07.10.2015

Big white head. Clear coppery body with light carbonation. Light tropical fruity metallic aroma with honey and spice notes. Sweetish tropical fruit and metal taste with seeds of paradise notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, fizzy mouthfeel. Dry-sweet spicy tropical fruit aftertaste with metal notes. Very nice. It reminds me of Westmalle Trippel, some of the same flavours.
