Description
Burdock brewery set up shop in what used to be an old Portuguese chicken restaurant, and they transformed the space into an artist-driven bar/restaurant/music hall/microbrewery run by a group of musicians and music lovers. They offer a rotating list of clean pale ales, complex saisons, crisp pilsners, zippy sours, and beer-wine hybrids that are all brewed in house.

Tasting at Matt’s; labeled "August 2015"
Hazy blond color with medium sized compact head. Some coriander spiciness, a bit fruity, but also bubblegum; the mouthfeel is rather dry; the bitterness is quite low, but somehow in balance; it has some vegetables and chamomile, more evident in the final.
Not a memorable beer, but not too bad.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is very fruity, with notes of bubblegum, fresh melon and other tropical fruits, and Belgian yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with bubblegum, fresh green melons, and some Belgian yeast. Completely not authentic, but it's pretty kickass for what it is. Well-balanced and clean. Excellent.

Hazy blond color, dull hue. Dry and light mouthfeel, with delicate malt backdrop, and then plenty of fruity and floral hops invading the aroma and flavor.
Fresh and refreshing. Excellent.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Nose is very nice, with notes of grass, crisp crackery malt, and a lovely hop quality. Flavour is wonderfully fresh, with loads of fresh grassy hops, biscuity malt, and some light floral notes. Super fresh, flavourul and wonderfully balanced. Not a traditional pilsner, but really excellent for what it is.
