Description
Liquid Light Brewing Company was born out of a passion for beer and music. We produce modern craft beer in keg, cask and cans.

After a couple of years cuckoo brewing, we found a home of our own and now have a 12bbl brewhouse and tap room in Nottingham.

Our ethos has always been to produce the beer we want to drink, and hopefully you'll enjoy it too!

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a small almost white head. Aroma is somewhat lacking – just hints of traditional hops and autumn fruits. In the mouth it is on the cusp between sweet and bitter with a creamy texture. Flavour is mainly traditional hops with an antiseptic tinge. After a while hints of spice, grains and mushy fruit come through as well, leading to a slightly dry finish. This is reasonable but not particularly exciting.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with minimal tan head and good lacing. There’s roasted malts, liquorice and coconut in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet and creamy but the texture is a tad watery. Flavour had roasted malts and vanilla initially, with traces of dark fruits and almonds coming through later, leading to a slightly dry finish. This is decent – the flavouring isn’t overdone.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Light hazy gold pour with a white head. Tropical fruit, apricot & peach aromas. Stone fruit flavours, whack of sweet citrus. Quite a fruity number.

Clear gold with a chill haze, a bubbly/frothy white head and sweet fruit on the nose. Light to medium bodied with sweet tropical fruit, not unlike a fruit salad chew, some light malt underneath and a dry finish

440ml can. BBF 05/24. Poured a murky dark brown colour with a short-lived, fizzy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light cinnamon. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with a smooth, somewhat light, roasty, herbal, plastic, light cinnamon palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Really not so great. I expected a real sweetie but it was far from that. Some hints of infection I think.
