Description
Liquid Light Brewing Company was born out of a passion for beer and music. We produce modern craft beer in keg, cask and cans.

After a couple of years cuckoo brewing, we found a home of our own and now have a 12bbl brewhouse and tap room in Nottingham.

Our ethos has always been to produce the beer we want to drink, and hopefully you'll enjoy it too!

On keg at Carlton Town FC bar - hazy yellow, big white head, which fades PDQ. Citrussy kick at the beginning with tropical undertones, some herby grassiness, bit of wheaty cereal. Nice and fresh.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small tan head. The aroma has coffee grounds and roasted malts. In the mouth it is sweet and tangy with dark fruits to the fore alongside roasted alts and hints of coffee. The coffee taste gets stronger as time progresses, and hints of chocolate and herbs also come through. A slight fruitiness in the finish. This is decent – not too much coffee.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 17th June 2024. Thickly hazy gold with shallow, off-white foam and full lacing. Citrus peel aroma. Tart grapefruit citrus in-mouth and a bitter monochrome of citrus peel for a finish. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a small almost white head. Aroma is somewhat lacking – just hints of traditional hops and autumn fruits. In the mouth it is on the cusp between sweet and bitter with a creamy texture. Flavour is mainly traditional hops with an antiseptic tinge. After a while hints of spice, grains and mushy fruit come through as well, leading to a slightly dry finish. This is reasonable but not particularly exciting.
