10/7/2025. Cask at the Ealing Beer Festival 2025. Citrus, tropical aroma. Quite zingy. Light herbal, husky notes. Just a little citric. Label said “try first”. But this was fine.

Cask at Pickled Pig, Stafford. Pours golden yellow with a small foamy almost white head and good lacing. There malts and peaches in the aroma, plus some hints of kiwi. In the mouth it is quite sweet but with a little sharpness also. Floral hops provide the flavour of citrus, tropical fruit and peaches with some hints of berry fruits coming later. Sweetness lasts into the finish. This is decent – certainly refreshing.

Hazed orange topped with an off white head.
Nose is orange peel, grass, lemon rind, straw.
Taste comprises bitter orange, mandarin, melon, straw.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with modest hop bitterness.
Passable affair ... rather lacklustre and a little disjointed.

Cask at the Fox And Crown, Newark. Light hazy reddish orange colour with a thin head. Aroma and taste are tart lemon and berry. Crisp body.

Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 16th May 2025. Thickly hazy amber with shallow foam and full lacing. Tropical fruits aroma. Citrus peel, spices and candied fruits in-mouth. A fruity finish with citrus peel.
Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 4th April 2025. Deep, clear sepia with light brown foam and pattern lacing. Rich dark chocolate and coffee aroma. Coffees, spices and bitter chocolate in-mouth, and a resounding malt finish. Light to medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Superb.

Poured near black in color with an off white head.
Lots of licorice, hint of wood and salty licorice again in flavor. Scent, toast, caramel. Light barrel notes.

Half pint, cask.
Poured clear and golden in color, white head,
Somewhat creamy mouthfeel, mango sweet as well. Could not get a grip of this beer. Not my favourite.

Cask at the cardinals hat Lincoln. Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are tropical fruity and light sweet. Medium body.
