experimenting is a core part of what we do. we trial new techniques, flavour profiles and styles until we land upon a hit. A beer can be dreamt up, mashed in, brewed and served in the same space; making our brewery a hive of activity, be a Monday morning or a Saturday night.

On tap at Foleys Taphouse, Leeds pre lockdown. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is odd, not great. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, bitter chocolate, roasted malts. Thin bodied for the style, light carb, dry finish. Not great overall

ABV: 8.0%. Murky medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt - caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, pine, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, minerals, orange, pale malt, citrus - pine. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20200125]

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, spicy, light peppercorn - coriander. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, spicy, soay, citric, sweet malt, peppercorn, coriander. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted - dark malt, - roasted - sweet malt, oat, roasted - chocolate malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, oat, dark malt - roasted - chocolate malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20200122]

28/2/2020. Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival 2020. Pours hazy mid brown with a small beige head. Aroma of ash, roasted malt, dark fruit, chocolate, coffee and berries. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate sour which seemed out of place. Medium body. Didn't seem right.

Kindly shared by friends at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Coast To Coast Bar. Misty golden body, small sized white head, spotty lacing. Fresh citrus fruity smell. A prominent piney bite to a hop fruity taste. Semi-dry bittersweet ending with leafy hops. Tasty. (2nd day of the festival, 23.01.2020).

Can from CentrAle, Newcastle. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich tropical hops, smoke, malt, citrus and has a nice hoppy and smoky finish.
