Description
Established in 2017 in the most Eastern point of mainland Scotland, we brew our beers in small batches in the nautical town of Peterhead. At Brew Toon we are passionate about creating bold, adventurous craft beers, packed full of flavour and character. We strive to use local ingredients where ever possible and pride ourselves on this provenance.

Brew Toon was born out of a passion for brewing and craftsmanship in general.

Our brewery is based on a historic site in Peterhead, which was once home to "Hunter & Sons - Tanfield Brewery". This heritage is hugely important to us and massively influential in how we run our brewery today.

Keg at BD Castlegate. It pours cloudy smoothie purple with a small off-white head. The aroma is soft, sweet - sour, tart, tangy, berry, vanilla yogurt and berry smoothie. The taste is quite smooth initially, thick and fruit, bramble, rapsberry, berry smoothie, light vanilla, granny smith apple, tart, puckering, juicy, jammy and some victoria sponge cake. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Hides alcohol very well. Well done.

Keg at Bar 27, Inverness, 10/10/21. Hazed orange with a good sized lasting white head. Nose is sweet malts, perfume, mango flesh, citric zip. Taste comprises mango, floral notes, melon, tangerine, papaya. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close laced with balanced juicy hop bitterness. Not bad if a touch on the sweet side and floral side.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a snow white, fluffy head. Nose - lime, bread and a light grassiness. Taste - initial lime, then into caramel and bread. There's a general popcorn feel about it. Palate - light bodied, a bit sweet in the middle and the lime cleans it to some extent but would like a bit more bitterness. Overall - decent.
