(Bottle 33 cl) Pale golden beer with a tall, pretty and very white head that stand majestically rigid in the glass. Rather malty with a soft feel to it. Some slight spices but more fruitiness. Heavily carbonated. Pleasant but perhaps a bit anonymous and pilsner-like. 090298

Dark brown color, tanned capucchino head. Aroma has brown sugar, molasses, dunkel-like roasted malts. Thin mouthfeel. Cold coffee with dry oakyness plus lots of added candy sugar.

Pale hazy yellow, not much head (small white). Sourish, wheaty nose. Light to meidum-bodied. Wheat is mixed with light spices but more feeling with this is like German hefeweizen (not witbier).

Very pale gold, slim rim of white head. Vague coriander nose, perfumey, no citrus. Coriander flavour, not very outspoken, but then, there’s nothing else. Used to be more bitter, I’m sure. Ends in nothing but - right, coriander. Light, spices give more impression than the grist added. Disappointing, has gone down from what I remember.

(Bottle 25 cl) A new "Oud Bruin" is definitely rare. It’s not exactly a type that gets a lot of attention. But this piece of news is unfortunately a disappointment. Redbrown and filtered, light beige head. But none of the sourness or metallic edge, that usually characterizes this type. This is soft and easily accessible -resembles more a Dutch version of "Oud Bruin" which is a kind of "hvidtøl"/ low alcohol beer. Malty, a bit sweet but lacks character. 021204

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark with a fairly decent head. Appears to be filtered, but some sediment is found on the bottom of the bottle. Typical notes of chocolate, dried fruits and perhaps even licorice. Rather dry though with some hops in the finish. Very classical Dubbel. 280695

(Bottle 33 cl) My version has 8% ABV. Very dark beer with a medium, beige head. Full-bodied but surprisingly dry - almost stout-like in character. Lots of complexity in the malty aroma - I sense some chocolate-notes. 210695
