Golden-amber colour. Aroma of lemon, passion fruit, cookie dough, slight dust, very slight alcohol. Crisp alcohol notes, peppery dryness, limey-earthy hops and bready malts.

Bottled. Mahogany colour. Medium sweet with plums and coffee. Velvetty soft mouthfeel, with some spun sugar. Salty finish. Well balanced.

At Belgianbeerweekend, Brussels Creamy head. Sparkling yellow body. Good lace. Averagily malt aroma. Moderately sweet lightly bitter initial flavour, moderately bitter (averagily long) finish.

Red-brown ale, clear; foxy-brown, fluffy head, not very stable. Chocolate fudge, dark malts, going into fully malt nose, sweet. Fresher, woodier and much more bitter taste than the nose impression. It’s an ale, but the Flemish brown character from the brewery is stamped all over it. Bit inky flavour, harsh, but not sourish until the finish with a slight woody-lactic acid. Thin, metallic mouthfeel, light bodied, slightly slick feel. Aftertaste is still harsh-bitterish with the flavour of bitter chocolate. The Roman yeast will always convey this harsh-metallic flavours. Best is still the Cnudde-variant. Not uninteresting, however.

A nut brown beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet with predominant notes of caramel, nuts, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, nuts, caramel, alcohol, and a body that is somewhat thin even though it is 7.5% ABV.

The aroma is sweet wheaty with notes of coriander and malt. The color is orange and it has a beutiful white head. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat malt, yeast, and coriander. A boring beer.

A red beer with a fine beige head. The aroma is of wood and plums. The flavor is boring, only slightly sour with notes of wood and plums and a very dry end. The body is thin. A very boring version of a Flemish sour ale.

Clear ruby color, short frothy brown head. Aroma of caramel malts. Caramel malty taste, very thin. I expected a flemish sour ale, but this is nowhere near! What a disappointment.
