Amber coloured, nice lasting head. Malty and quite fruity aroma and flavour. OK brew. Damn, i cannot remember very good, only that it was quite ok, but not brilliant.

The aroma is slightly sweet malty with notes of caramel. The color is amber and it has a very small light brown head. The flavor is sweet malty with fruity notes and a good bitterness. A little thin - but it is a 5% ABV Flemish Sour ale - which could explain that.

(Actual bottle I'm having is called 'Adriaen Brouwer'. But everything points at labelbeer of Oudenaards) Deep brown with reddish shine. Good yellow-brown head, irregular. Nose with chaff, moccha, (wet) brown bread. Nutty taste, brown bread/malt; sweet - nearly German in character. No acids detectable. Tastes more as a Münich than as a Flemish Oud bruin. Bit thin, mouthfeel as if suspension of sweet flour in watery liquid. Not only untrue to style, it's not very exciting neither. Unremarkable.

Dark chestnut beer; cream-brown head. Aroma of dark bread, Pumpernickel. Bitter from dark malts on sweet base, without any refinement. Maybe some licorice.Medium-filled, no aftertaste. Not very rewarding. If short of choice, however...

Orange-gold. Huge, fluffy white & irregular head, quite stable, going down laey. Very alcoholic nose, candi sugar. Dry-perfumed taste. Quite some sweetness left, with a meaty taste. Not much depth. Mouthfeel is alcohol-dominated, and dry. Slight bitter aftertaste. Not very exciting. Maybe after the fifth...

An unclear amber beer with a fine head. The aroma is a lovely malty one. The flavor too is lovely sweet malty and a little sour.

At first, I thought this was going to be yet another Duvel-imitation and partially I was right, but the colour was amber instead of white. Yeasty aroma, alcoholic too. It has an alcoholic, little spicy flavour. Ends malty. Not as intense as the Duvel-flavour.

Almost black colour, brownish head. Little bit spicy aroma. Bitter , little bit spicy flavour. I expected something special of this beer because it is an abbey ale, but actuallu is was quite a disappointment. At least at first I thought af a pilsener with a bit intenser taste. Though, after a while I also perceived some sweetish tastes. An average ale.
