19th-20th July 2013: gravity poured at the 22nd Festival At The Edge. I was working in the CAMRA tent and had plenty of this brew over the weekend. Lovely amber colour (as the name suggests) with a cream head in texture and colour. Semi-sweet malty molasses rule the nose and taste: just what I prefer. Bitter finish wraps up a very pleasant and easy to drink beer. Good body depth and an all round fine beer.

Cask at the Birmingham Beer Festival 2012. Clear golden brown pour with a very thin white head. The aroma is of light malt with some citrus notes. The flavour is dry malt with some bitterness on the palate. All that's missing is the riverside country pub! A great session ale.
