Bottle. I've been drinking beers for years and I just don't get brett beers. This one is no exception. Funky aroma and taste. Don't care for it.

Bottle. A. Unusual but tasty beer. Aroma has lemongrass but the taste of lemongrass is what makes this beer.

Bottle. These hazy hoppy beers are so fruity and only mildly bitter. They make great lake beers.

Sample can from brewery rep. Aroma is packed! Notes of tangerine, pine, weed, guava, strawberry. Taste is pretty sweet with mild to moderate pithy bitterness. Aroma is far more impressive than flavor unfortunately, although it’s not bad. Tastes like a typical overly sweet TIPA.

568ml can from the lcbo. Clear yellow pour, with a large white head. Aroma is bright, citrus zest, light yeast and pale malts. Floral and citrusy with bright zesty notes. Its not complex or incredible, but its bright and pleasant. As it warms itgets fruity, notes of mango and apricot. Malts are light, and a crackery. Finish is lightly bitter, with more floral citrus.

6er from the BO. Clear orange pour, medium white head. Aroma is sweet, quite malty, toasted cereals, brown sugar, with light fruit and grasses. Nice mouth feel, good carb. Medium bitter finish, light notes of pine and light fruit. Maltiness fades and it gets hoppier at the end. Interesting brew.

6er from the lcbo. Clear Copper pour, medium off white head. Aroma is piney, slight soapiness, sticky hop cones and some subtle sweet malts. Mouth feel is nice, are is a little soft than I’d like. Finish is clear, resinous, some crackery malts, actually a tad more than I’d like, this seems a touch stale. Again the lcbo kept something too long in the fucking lab before releasing it. This isn’t awful, but I’m sure it was quite better when it was fresh.

Brown pour, small off white head. Toasty, nutty aroma, grassy, earthy hops. Some dried hay, light doughy malt. Finish is very very toasty, lots of nuts, with a herbal hop in the end.

Huge citrus and resinous pine aroma. Big big big hops. Good dose of chewy malts too. Mouthfeel is a thick as i expected. The finish is not as bitter as i expected, and its all hops, the malts fade big time. Good beer, but when it comes to california double ipas, it’s middle of the road.
