nice hazy brown pour with a big tan head. aromas of fruity hops, bready caramels malts, and some nuts. lively carb, and quite a bit of booze. very bitter finish with a big dose of piney resins, and some more boozy malts. a little rough around the edges would benefit from some age.

Quite a hoppy barley wine. Some nice buttery maltiness, but man there are lots of hops in here. I found it actually took away from the really nice bitterscotch malts i was enjoying. A nice beer none the less, but a little less hops would be nice.

wow, we got a foamer! Huge thick white head. Great bready malty aroma, with a big punch of hops. Very nice flavour, lots of chewy malt, very nice example of the style.

typical IPA pour, dark amber, orange color, good head, and nice sticky lacing on the glass. Nice fresh aromas of citrus, lots of grapefruit, and a touch of pine. Not much malt here, and the hops are a little tame in the flavour, a solid IPA, nothing to knock your socks off, just a good daily drinker.

Aroma is bready, some caramel malt, grapefruit rind, pine. Taste has a moderate building to high pithy bitterness backed by significant caramel malt sweetness. Old school. Almost veers into American barleywine territory.

Pours golden with a thick white head. Aroma of booze, some resin, pine. Taste has resin, some more pine and vague citrus. Palate is more of the same. Definitively more west coast.

Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso il luppolo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono anche la forma del perlage. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate e di pronta beva. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, agrumi, pompelmo e ananas.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dal citrico. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo paglierino. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è pronunciato e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al palato finiscono note di zucchero, resina, agrumi, pompelmo rosa e ananas.
