(Bottle) Dark red colour with foamy pinkish beige head. Fruity nose with cherries, spices, marzipan, blood orange and white bread. Fruity, tart taste with notes of cherries, white bread, spices, almonds, marzipan and pink grapefruit. Hardly any bitterness. Medium body, dry. Generous acidity. Rich cherry character. Not overly complex, but tasty and refreshing. Very nice.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a mostly clear gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Aromas of pear, peach, lychee and starfruit on the nose. Crisp and clean on the palate. Dry with a dank note alongside more tropical fruit. Drying finish with pith and tropical fruit skin.

On tap at Beer Temple, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out tons of brett, medium roast, and some toasted malt. Flavour is full of intense brett, roasted malt, and some earthiness. Tons of brett and roasted character. Good stuff.

A 12 oz can located at a Total Wine in the northwest part of Austin. Stamp on the bottom indicates a born-on date of 11/22/23. I'll be using a snifter for this sampling, the tab is flipped and I make the pour. The body is an semi-hazy amber-gold topped by a fairly steady head of fully white foam, some lacing potential noted. The scent leans NE style with tropical notes along with a bit of of hoppiness. And the taste maintains that. Mango, malt, some pine, cardboard, citrus and honeydew. Not so great starting out, the further along I go, it gets some better.

Muted tea and orange nose. Crystal clear amber, medium head, decent lace. Orange blossom, hints of bubble gum. Medium body, easy carbonation. I thought it was boring at first, but it really isn't so bad. Decent balance actually, just not very exciting.

new rating 2/2024: Waldo’s: Quite different but yet the same! On the surface this seems to be a wanton waste of warming alky. This viscous mess pours a washstand wicked eye, foaming and wizardly wondering all down the side and on the table. Volatile & weighty aroma on my weary olfactory. Quite alarming. First taste is a wonky waring mouth coating wretch. This wasteful wayward wagon, throws a wrench into my ability to taste anything wispy else. Whew. It’s a weevil of a wombat, simply sends you to the wasteland. Wondering what dah hel,l as this wracked warrior wrangles the middle. I wince at its overall woefulness. The wrath of this wretched stuff wrecks my palate. Finishes with a wry of wrongdoing that saps my mental wimple wagon. Did I say whew? Terribly over top wreckage on the style. old rating (0.9) 7/2019: Bottle, $2 at vintage. Scary volatile aroma. Pours like one big ball of viscous bitter rubber and it taste exactly the same. What's the purpose of this beer, just to get you f'd up on one bottle and insult you the whole time while its doing so? WTF?!? How can anybody enjoy bullshit like this? One big fat nasty mug of happy bullshit. Warming sensations all around in the finish.
