Bottle Pours a sllightly hazy golden yellow with a thin white head. Light fruity aromsa and a healthy hops kick. Flavors were quite bitter but not in a good, hoppy way. Seemed a bit off. Plenty of malts for body and a nice thick heavy feel. Linger bitterness again that I didn’t think was only the hop profile. May have to try again soon.

Bottle Pours a slightly hazy rich dark golden amber with a very large creamy off white head. Aroma of that brown sugar, clove, banana, belgian ensemble. Expected belgian flavors but with a bit of a metallic and woody flavor as well. No surprises on the trailer and a very thin but clean feel. Glad to have tried it. I allways look forward to trying these guys latest.

Bottle. Amber color with a nice white head. Crisp yeasty aroma with some earthy spice. Nice balance. Flavor has a lot going on - fruity (peach), some grain, some earthiness, some herbal tones - a lot of saison-like qualities. Only problem is, the beer gets tiring. Small sample would score better.

Bottle. Amber-brown beer (very clear) with a beige head. Sweet, roasty malt aroma. Sweet malt, slightly spicey, flavor. Light yeast profile. Somewhat refreshing.

Bottle pours a very cloudy dark copper with a small off white head. Good lacing that is thin but evenly sheeting. Very nice aroms of caramel, borwnsugar and lightly roasted malts. Flavor was similar, with a noticeable ABV kick but did not detract. Very smooth feel. Medium hoppy bite at the end. Thanks Buch Dich for sharing this one

Noogfest Clear amber color. Caramel aroma with some bisquit notes. Moderatly sweet with no real stand out flavors. Finishes a bit thin and dry.

Noogfest, thanks to flipbrewer for sending this out, next year you gotta bring it yourself though! Rich copper color with a creamy thick head. Aroma is rich and full of hops and malt in a very nice balance. The flavor follows the balance found in the aroma. Grapefruity hop flavor and caramel malt and ending in a nice dry hop finish.

2005 bottle from Julios consumed 6/22/2005. Pours a clear, filtered, marigold-butter orange/yellow. Sparkling carbonation, quite light overall but does manage a large white head consisting of medium-sized bubbles. Fully collapsing, it twiddles away to a ring eventually, with no lacing. Aroma has notes of light orange fruits (nectarines, pears, tangerines), some light Belgian yeast (Westmalle it seems). Light citrus notes in addition to the other fruits, a touch of honey and then some corn or cream, not really a bad thing. Flavor is moderately sweet, quite hoppy, though it is more spicy than truly bitter. Finishes with light honey, bits of dough and white sugar, more fruits and yeast. Palate is rather loose, and the forced carbonation leaves quickly, giving the body a watery feel on the end, and being filtered, the beer looses a lot of mouthfeel. Corn flavors, not in a bad way, just lots of pils malt byproduct, I guess. Reminds me of a simpler, filtered Unibroue 1837 mixed with a little bit of Griffon Blonde. Like usual, filtration really kills the spirit. Though I guess if you just look at this as a summer session refresher, it passes pretty readily.

Slightly hazy brown coloured body with a smallish tan head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of roasted malt, strong nuts, alcohol, pit fruits and what else - brown sugar! Medium-bodied; Nuttiness strong up front with a mild sugar and malt flavour coming strong behind. Aftertaste shows more character with pit fruit, alcohol and some light vanilla. Overall, not bad at all for a brown, but not my favourite style, so some more interesting characteristics were lacking far behind. Worth trying, especially if you like browns. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 06-February-2005, Super Bowl Sunday.

A hazy orange beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is very hoppy - so much that grass mixes in. The flavor is sweet and more grassy than hoppy, combined with notes of caramel, and alcohol. The alcohol gives You the warmth while drinking this.
