Plastic fill bottle from LCB. Pours a clear red-amber, no head. Aroma has a fruity ripe apple with a touch of caramelised sugar with light funk. Taste starts semi-sweet, fleshy pithy apple with some tartness, some leather and drying tannic finish. Good, although it has the colour I like in a cider so I was hoping to score higher but not to be. Lacks some depth but still tasty.

Litre plastic bottle from Low Cost Beer, shared with my brother Rupe on 29th November 2024. Hard work to be honest.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Deep orangey golden-amber colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of ripe apple, fruit, brown sugar, woody funk hint. Taste is sweetish, appley, some skin & core, with caramel, barnyard funky notes, then smokey hints, wood barrel, oak, tar, and drying spicy tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry oaky tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, light tartness. Medium body, low carbonation. Very dry tannic finish. Enjoyed this.

Panda pop from Lowcostbeer. It pours deep orangey - brown with a small bubbly white head. The aroma is musty, funky, barnyard, spice, crunchy apple, nuttiness, apple skin, apple pie with custard and a touch of marzipan. The taste is fairly soft and juicy upfront, slick, sweet, crunchy apple, tannin, apple skin, stewed fruits, spicy, woody, almond/marzipan vibes, warming booze, with a drying, tannic finish. Medium body and oily mouth feel. An interesting mix of quite sweet/juicy with dries sour with tannin. Perhaps doesn't quite have the depth or drinkability I was looking for. Decent nonetheless.
